A Court Of Mist And Fury Book Review

A Court Of Mist And Fury is the second book to the A Court Of Thorns And Roses series. After defeating Amarantha, Feyre returns to the Spring Court with Tamlin with immortality and the powers of the High Fae. However, she can't forget what happened Under The Mountain or the bargain she made with the High Lord of the Night Court, Rhysand.
Now war is coming and an evil greater that Amarantha threatens to destroy what Feyre has fought for.

Firstly I would like to say that it has taken me forever to finish ACOMAF, however that is because I didn't want a break between ACOMAF and the release of the newest book in the series A Court Of Wings And Ruin. So that I didn't have a break between the two books, I ended up rationing the book and limiting myself to reading twenty pages at most a day. This wasn't an easy task as I freaking loved the book!

I got fifty pages in and was sucked back into the world of Fae and didn't want to put it down. I would say which parts were my favourite, but there are just too many. I'd have to say that chapter 43 and onwards were the best out of the whole book. Some specific parts that were my favourite was the part with the Prison/Bone Carver, the part with the Attor and the part at the Weaver's cottage. I was incredibly gob-smacked with chapter 50!

In the first book I absolutely loved Tamlin, however in the second I completely switched and began to hate him and grew to love Rhysand. Feyre throughout this book was such a sassy badass and her relationship with Rhysand completely sucked me in and I kept wanting to know what was going to happen. The new characters that are introduced in the House Of Wind section were great, especially Mor.

I liked how you got to explore more of the Courts, especially the Summer Court and seeing Velaris. If Velaris was real, I would want to live there. It sounds so cute. Even though I loved seeing other Courts, I still missed the Spring Court.

The ending! It was so unexpected and I was basically a crying mess. Throughout the entire last part of the book I just kept saying "yes Feyre!" and was absolutely losing my mind.

I am incredibly surprised with how much I am loving this series, it's just utter brilliance and I am addicted Also, all the covers in the series are so stunning!

It is safe to say that I gave A Court Of Mist And Fury by Sarah J Maas 5 out of 5 stars on Goodreads.

Have you read this series? What are your thoughts?
